This ongoing project has been a real test of how close I can get to photo-realism using all scratch-made elements. Meant to to be a Glock pistol adorned with cheap, pastel spray paint and Sharpie®-drawn hieroglyphs, the initial vector shapes were built in Illustrator and then transferred over to Photoshop for detailing. I'm not sure how many layers are in this file, but it's bordering on ridiculous. The intention is to output this as a 1:1 scale giclee print.
This isn't finished, but it's progressing. Layer by layer...
Base shapes created in Illustrator with detailing done in Photoshop.
